Starting Saturday, November 29th, the Angel Tree returns to the church vestibule. Angels come in many sizes, many guises: from the youngest children to our most senior saints. Some need shoes and outfits and toys; others need teddy bears to soften the time in nursing facilities. What a joy it is to minister to the angels at Christmas. Be sure to choose your angels from the Tree at St. Thomas More during this Advent season. Our volunteers from the Women of God will be there to assist you choosing and providing a gift for your angel.

For God will give His angels charge concerning you,

Guadalupe Solemn Mass and Fiesta Friday, December 11th, 7:00 PM

This annual event is a joyous occasion in the life of our parish. We pray in three languages (English, Spanish, & Vietnamese) to honor the diversity of our community and to celebrate our unity in our Catholic Faith. A reenactment of Blessed Juan Diego’s encounter with Our Lady of Guadalupe occurs during Mass.

We go in procession with the image of Our Lady. We celebrate with food, dance and fellowship in the Hall. Let’s celebrate our diversity of foods:

Christmas is that special time of the year when we remember our loved ones --those who are with us and those who have departed our world to be with the Lord.

As in past years, St. Thomas More Madonna CCW is again sponsoring poinsettias that will adorn our church during this holiday season -- each plant representing a deceased loved one. The names of your loved ones will be placed on a scroll and they will be remembered at all Masses during the Christmas season.

We are so grateful to God and to our parishioners for the beauty and reverence of the St. Thomas More Daily Mass Chapel. It is time to do the same for our Main Church and remove the worn out carpet and pew fabric.

We will raffle a 2010 Chevy Malibu and dedicate all of the proceeds to the beautification of our beloved sanctuary church.

Vita Tocco and her board express their appreciation for the hard work and volunteer time of the members and for the untiring support of the STM Maintenance Staff. We are grateful for the vendors who place their talents on display each year at STM—their presence is a blessing to the parish and we pray that they were successful in their sales. In his mid-teens, Daniel is carried off into a far country with strange customs. There he is successful, envied, targeted, trapped and thrown into the Lion’s Den. God delivers Daniel and exalts him so that he becomes a blessing to all, even to those who threw him to the beasts.

Daniel’s story is our story; what occurred in his young life happens daily in the lives of our youth. They need God, the firmfooting of Faith and our support to have successful, joyful and exciting lives. Help them now and they’ll bless us later. - Rev. Julian P. Harris
